Production Facilities Training

Production Facilities separate the well stream into three phases - oil, gas and water - and process these phases into remarkable products or dispose of them in an environmentally acceptable manner.

For more information about these Production Facilities courses, or to register, please choose from the titles listed below.

Level: Basic
PF-21 Applied Water Technology in Oil and Gas Production - Formerly W-21 or W-2

Level: Foundation
PF-22 Corrosion Management in Production/Process Operations - Formerly W-22
PF-40 Production / Facilities Fundamentals - Facility Engineers

PF-43 Heat Transfer Equipment

Level: Intermediate
PF-4 Oil Production & Processing Facilities
PF-42 Separation Equipment - Selection & Sizing - Formerly "Process Vessels Specification and Design"

Level: Specialized/Advanced
PF-81 CO2 Surface Facilities

Note:

Within the John Campbell / PetroSkills organisation we have been rationalising our courses and placing them in related groups.  The 'Water and Corrosion' courses are seen as being related to the operational aspects of production and processing facilities.  These courses have a number designation beginning with the letters PF.  Hence, the new course designations are PF-21 and PF-22.

"PF-21; Applied Water Technology in Oil and Gas Production"
Previously known as W-21 (Applied Water Technology) and there was also considerable overlap with the course "W-2; Overview of Oilfield Water Handling Facilities".  All topics in the previous courses are contained within PF-21.  Due to the modular nature of this course, emphasis on specific areas can be varied for in-house versions of the PF-21 course.

"PF-22; Corrosion Management for Production / Processing Operations"
Previously under the W-22 designation.  Since all topics within the ME-48 course are also contained in PF-22, the ME-48 designation has been discontinued.  Like PF-21, since this course also has a modular construction, emphasis on specific areas can be varied for in-house versions of the PF-22 course.
