Oil and Gas Operator Training

Our Operator Training is always customized to a specific plant or system.

John M. Campbell and Company provides Gas Plant and Production Facility Operator Training to major oil and gas companies, worldwide. Because we stress fundamentals and understanding over rote procedures, our Operator Training courses have been called “engineering courses for operators”. Because John M. Campbell & Co. creates a customized course manual for each client, we only offer our Operator Training courses on an in-house basis. The presentation of standard Campbell Operator Training course material is always related directly to the client’s subject facility, incorporating PFD’s, material balance tables and other client-supplied materials.

John M. Campbell & Co. can also develop new material for both course content and subsequent practical use, such as drawings, photos, descriptive text, phase envelopes and operating procedures that are site-specific to a particular facility.

Course length is content-dependent but is somewhat flexible and adaptable to shift schedules. Our Operator Training courses typically run anywhere from 2 to 8 days in length.

John M. Campbell & Co. Operator Training is lecture-based and adaptable to the needs of the audience, providing a meaningful experience for both the novice and the more seasoned operator or supervisor. For the more advanced audience, we can also include exercises employing short-cut calculations and customized problem sets.

Our Operator Training courses have been well received as orientation training for new engineers or for experienced engineers making the switch from other disciplines. A John M. Campbell & Co Operator Training Course, plus job experience, can serve as effective stepping-stone to John M. Campbell & Co. Engineering courses like our “Campbell Gas Course" .
